Project Information

The project's expected outputs included the following:

  • At least 14,225 people including 125 disabled people and 24 commune council members from 14 villages in 2 communes would have been made aware of climate change and its impacts through education and awareness campaigns;
  • 5 community based committees would have been organized;
  • Vulnerability of livelihood and social economy to climate change would have been reduced by increasing farming water access for 255 families, rice yield improvement, aquaculture productions, vegetable gardening, and by increasing natural fish stock through well-managed community fishery for 2331 families; and
  • 2 target communes would have mainstreamed climate change adaptation priorities into CIP, and lessons learned and good practices from project implementation would have been documented and shared with wilder stakeholders.
