The project was aimed to support the promotion of marine aquaculture development to reduce the pressure on the natural fishery resources and outbreak of imported infectious fish diseases. The project provided the facility and equipment consisting of research and administration building, brood stock maturation building, hatchery and breeding building and aquaculture research equipments. In addition to the research and development function for marine aquaculture, the project also aimed to produce annually 500,000 healthy fingling.
