This project seeks to install two auto claves of 50 and 150 liters, one clean bench and to construct two screen houses with the capacity of 300m2 and 600m2 at the UBB farm in order to breed virus-free cassava. This project will enable about 1,150 farmers in the rural communities to improve the productivity of cassava cultivation, which will thus contribute to increasing their incomes. The UBB is also planning to hold workshops to distribute virus-free cassava to local farmers and the Battambang Provincial Department of Agriculture.
