Project Information

The main purpose of the project included the following:

• Improve food security in rural areas;
  
• Increase the food production capacities of farmers through the protection;
  
• Rehabilitate and extend arable land; and
  
• Improved agricultural techniques and irrigation canals.
  

The target groups were also provided with theoretical and practical technical training to support the introduction of improved agricultural practices to reduce environmental impact and increase yields.
