This project aims to strengthen the institutional mechanism for food safety and quality control in supply chain management of livestock products based on guidance given in the FAO/WHO guidelines for strengthening national food control systems. This project envisions the enhancement of food safety and quality and further leading to the promotion of trade and safe food supply to consumers in both domestic and international markets at affordable and stabilized prices.
