The objectives of the project are to increase the income of smallholder farmers through the development of Geographical Indications (GI) value chains and improve market access, as well as increase knowledge on GI of consumers.
The project leverages on the facilitation of exchange of information, network creation regarding GI protection, the promotion at both private and public levels to allow for overall better protection, and the promotion of national products in regional and international markets.
