The project sought to promote an interdicsiplinary, holistic approach to animal health management for enhanced, environment-friendly forms of livestock production, including integrated animal disease management, improved animal husbandry and farm management practices and the balanced use of natural resources aimed at reducing disease transmission risks from animal to animal and animal to human.
