The HAVEST FS/N initiative worked with poor households to assist them in improving food security. The project hoped to increase food production in home gardens and low-input fish ponds (food availability); facilitate post-harvest management and food processing (food availability and utilization); support in the marketing of fresh and processed foods (access to food); and improve family nutrition knowledge and practices (food utilization).
