Project Information

The project aimed to achieve the following:

• Reasonable price mechanism under a modern business system;
  
• Stable regional supply of rice by providing market information;
  
• Improvement of post-harvest technology and quality control of rice;
  
• Improvement for condition on intra-regional commercial transaction; and
  
• Improvement of conditions for rice border trade in order to contribute to increased income for poverty alleviation in rural areas through the:
  
• Modernization of rice marketing system (for reasonable price formation of rice)
• Provision of information on rice price and other concerning rice (for stability of supply)
• Setting up of rice quality standard (for improvement of rice quality).
