Project Information

The project sought to reduce the vulnerability of rural communities to floods and droughts through:

• development of participatory flood risk reduction strategy;
  
• improvement in the ability and willingness of the government, NGOs and targeted communities to implement the strategy, and
  
• improvement in physical prevention and mitigation works.
