Project Information

The main objective of the project is to contribute to poverty reduction and food security through more effective agriculture and rural development policies and programme defined and implemented on the basis of relevant, reliable and up-to-date structural data on the agriculture sector for their interventions.

Complementary Information

This support included the development and pilot testing of a Gender and Agricultural Statistics Framework, which mainstreamings gender concerns in agricultural censuses and surveys, and re-tabulation of existing census and survey data.
