The overall goal of the program is to promote sustained economic growth and livelihood improvement for the rural poor, including women and other vulnerable groups. It is structured around four components:
Social development
Economic development and natural resources management;
Rural infrastructure development; and
Institutional development and capacity-building.
Complementary Information
Women and marginalized groups in poor villages in the upland are targeted as beneficiaries of the project.
