Project Information

The project aimed to improve food security of 1.3 million people in crisis annually through food aid intervention to:
 
Increase enrolment and retention in basic education, decreasing repetition and reduce short-term hunger, particularly among girls;
Assist TB patients and people affected by HIV/AIDS to enable them to receive care and treatment and to improve the food security of their households; and
Save lives, protect and develop community assets and promote sustainable livelihoods to mitigate the effects of natural disasters.

Complementary Information

The project aimed to help girls to improve their basic education and reduce short-term hunger.
